How to Send a Gift on Tippified
1. Go to the Creator’s Tippified Tip Page
The first step is to visit the creator’s Tippified tip page.
If you already have the creator’s tip page, simply open it.
If you are already on a Tippified tip page, you can also search for the creator by their name or referral code to find the creator you want to support.
2. Click “Send Creator a Gift”
Once you are on the creator’s tip page, look for the “Send Creator a Gift” option.
Clicking this will open the creator’s available gift options.
3. Choose a Gift
You will see a selection of gifts available to send to the creator, along with the price of each gift in Nigerian naira (₦).
Browse through the available options and select the gift or gifts you would like to send.
You can choose multiple gifts if you want to send more than one.
4. Add Your Gifts to the Cart
After selecting a gift, add it to your cart.
If you want to send additional gifts, continue browsing and adding them to your cart until you have selected everything you want to send.
When you are finished, proceed to checkout.
5. Proceed to Secure Checkout
At checkout, you will see the total amount for the gifts you selected.
When you proceed with the payment, you will be redirected to Paystack’s secure checkout page to complete your payment.
You can choose from the payment methods available to you at checkout.
Your payment is processed securely through Paystack, so you can make your payment with confidence.
6. What If You Are Paying with a Foreign Card?
Tippified gift prices are displayed in Nigerian naira (NGN).
If you are outside Nigeria or are using a foreign card or currency, your card provider or bank may automatically convert the naira amount into your card’s billing currency.
For example, if a gift costs ₦10,000, your bank or card provider will handle the applicable currency conversion and charge you the equivalent amount in your card’s currency.
The exact exchange rate and converted amount can depend on your card provider or bank.
7. The Creator Receives the Gift Value
Once your payment is successfully completed, the gift purchase is processed for the creator.
The creator receives the corresponding gift proceeds through their verified payout bank account, subject to Tippified’s applicable processing and payout procedures.
This means you can support a creator from wherever you are, while the creator can receive their support through their verified payout details.
